Board Member Quick Overview
If you live in Como Park or Falcon Heights and have a financial, technological, marketing, or healthcare background, please consider joining our team and helping us form a course of action that directly benefits an entire community.
For over 20 years, COMOCONNECTS has provided support and services to seniors 65 and better in the Como Park/Falcon Heights area. We assist them to live safely and joyfully in the home and community they love. We are a 501c and not affiliated with any religious institution.
Board responsibilities include volunteering 2-3 hours each month on a project within the organization. You will work collectively with others to best meet the needs of a growing population of seniors. Board members help with two fundraisers per year. Our fundraisers include parking cars at the State Fair and Back to the 50s.
Our board members live, work, or worship in the community, have a family member living here, or have a strong desire to make the Como Park and Falcon Heights neighborhoods a great place to live and age. They play a key role in strengthening and monitoring programs, services, providing financial oversight, helping with fundraising and helping plan for the future.
